Chris attended his first drag race at age 4. . . . . . . . . . In 1994 he bought a stock '89 Trans Am. From 95 to 99 he raced at Island Dragway and GM High Tech events at Englishtown. The car went through several combinations eventually running a best of 13.06 at 109. In 1999 he also bought a '71 Nova that had been sitting unregistered for 15 years for $500. After restoring the Nova over the winter, he ran the GM High Tech series running with a fuel injected 406 with a 100 shot of nitrous. As it sits now, the car is all steel except for the hood. Full interior, fully streetable and clicks off mid 10's at 128 on 9 inch tires. He has been working for the last 10 years in a General Motors dealership body shop. |
